PATCHWORK
It all began in the textile room at the American Museum in Bath, just a stone’s throw from the Mill. We were enchanted by their range of quilts and decided to work with the museum on creating a collection that would introduce them to a wider audience.
Our Patchwork Collection draws on the long tradition of quilt-making which began in North East England and spread to the US in the mid-1800s. We've had the pleasure and privilege of re-working their historic blocks and folk appliqué motifs into printed fabrics and papers.
